IV All-Russian Symposium of Winemakers

On June 1-2, the IV All-Russian Symposium of Winemakers took place in Novorossiysk. The event brought together more than 220 participants - winemakers, representatives of science, technology and equipment suppliers.

The main topics of the symposium this year were trends and trends in the field of winemaking, as well as Russian technological developments for the wine industry and the possibility of their practical application. The venue for the symposium was traditionally the Congress Hall "Hilton Garden Inn Novorossiysk".

The organizer of the All-Russian Symposium of Winemakers is the Wine History Bureau. The event is supported by the Association "Federal Self-Regulatory Organization of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia", the Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnodar Territory, the Association of Producers of Grapes and Alcoholic Products of the Krasnodar Territory "Kubanvinogradalko", the Association "Vinegrowers and Winemakers", the Association of Vinegrowers and Winemakers of Crimea "Crimean Bureau of Grapes and Wines”, Association of winegrowers and winemakers “Sevastopol”.

On the first day of the symposium, the participants talked about the use of new and non-traditional grape varieties in world and Russian winemaking, global climate change, consumer trends and their impact on wine production and sales.

The second day was traditionally tasting. The wines were evaluated on the basis of the WINEINCOGNITO platform. At the same time, more than 100 winemakers participated in the tasting.

One of the leaders of the tasting was wine Chateau Tamagne Reserve Rkatsiteli from a limited collection.
