Kuban-Vino is upgrading the capacity of the Classic Winemaking Center
30 new tanks for blending and storing wine materials were installed in the Classic Winemaking Center "Kuban-Vino". 20 tanks with a capacity of 3,000 dal, 10 - 2,500 dal. They were purchased as part of the production modernization program provided for in the winery development strategy.
Also, during the program, the acratophore department was repaired. All acratophores were included in a single system for making sparkling wines. Wine workshop No. 2 was completely re-profiled for the production of sparkling wines in the classic way and aged still wines. Wine in bottles for aging was placed on an area of 2,800 square meters. A modern air conditioning system allows maintaining the desired temperature and microclimate in the room.
The plans for 2025 include further expansion of the tank fleet, the purchase of new barrels for aging premium wines and continued modernization of wine workshops. As a result of the comprehensive upgrade, technological processes will be optimized, production efficiency will increase, and the quality of manufactured products will be improved.
The Classic Winemaking Center is an actively developing production site of Kuban-Vino. It uses such classic winemaking technologies as bottle champagne, must fermentation and aging on yeast sediment in oak containers, the creation of collectible wines with additional aging in a bottle after bottling, the production of natural sweet wines by fermentation and aging in a barrel, as well as liqueur wines with the addition of alcohol and aging on sediment, in an oak barrel and a thermal chamber. The capacity of the center is 677,200 dal, there are 5 bottling lines and 1,200 barrels made of French, American, Caucasian oak and acacia. In addition to the Classic Winemaking Center, Kuban-Vino has two more production centers. In 2023, the sites produced 95.5 million bottles of still and sparkling wine.
