Description

Russian wine with PGI "Kuban. Taman Peninsula dry red Tsimlyansky black

The Taman Peninsula, due to its climatic conditions, favors the development of a variety of grape varieties from various regions of the world. In a series of wines from hybrid and autochthonous varieties, the Kuban-Vino winery offers its consumers wines from grape varieties little known to the general public, which are ideal for growing on Taman terroirs and will be of interest to lovers of new tastes and styles.

The wine is made from the Tsimlyansky black grape variety (the age of the vines is 17 years old), harvested in the own vineyards of the Yuzhnaya agricultural company. It has established itself on the wine-making map of Russia as an authentic variety and characteristic of the southern part of the country. The first mention of this variety appeared in the 18th century, when Peter I presented the French king with 20 barrels of black Tsimlyansk wine. The color of the wine is rich, from dark ruby to purple, the aroma is complex, tart, in harmony with black fruits. The taste is dense, thick, tart. Recommended with red meat, game, spicy cheeses.
